Terms & Conditions

(1) Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website; by using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website.

These terms and conditions are for the benefit of you and us, and are not intended to benefit any third party or be enforceable by any third party. The exercise of our and your rights in relation to these terms and conditions is not subject to the consent of any third party.


(14) Entire agreement

These terms and conditions , together with our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our website, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.


(15) Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the [non-]exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

(17) Refund policy and cancellation policy. 

All cancellations in the following restaurants are subject to the 24 hour cancellation charge and charges are as follows:


(18) Online Restaurant Bookings

Please note that for parties over 6 we will require a credit or debit card to make a deposit for your reservation, a table cannot be held without them. You will be asked to input your card details to secure your reservation when making your booking online or when calling the restaurant. The deposit paid will come off your final bill. All details are processed in line with our Privacy Policy and Website Terms & Conditions.


(19) Restaurant Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel or modify your reservation, this can be made without charge by following the cancellation link in the confirmation email that you have received when making your reservation or by contacting the respective restaurant more than 24 or 48 hours respectively before your stated reservation date and time. 


(20) Membership Terms


When joining SHGCC you are making a commitment to a 12 month period as a member and no cancellations are allowed within that period. A renewal letter will be automatically sent out for a further 12 months.


At no point will refunds be given. If for any reason you have a problem with your membership please put your concerns in writing addressed to our general manager.


If you cancel your membership during a 12 month period and wish to renew at a further point in time a minimum of £250 administration charge will be applied. 


(21) Event Conditions of Sale

1. The management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or failure to comply with requests of management.

2. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanges or refunded after purchase, except in the case of a materially altered or cancelled performance / event. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Any dietary requirements must be disclosed before the event in order to be catered for efficiently.

4. We reserve the right to amend or make alterations to the published details of the event as necessary.

5. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal property brought into the venue unless caused by the negligence of the venue.


(22) Members Discount Cards

Our club members both social and golf will at all times receive the best price in our clubhouse. All discounts will be appropriate to our company pricing policy, where possible up to 10% will be given to all club members.  Please note, special offers, advertised in the bar area which may include wine of the month, special offer meals etc a further discount will not be given in these instances only.   


It is our company policy to implement price increases on the 1st of February annually , however if circumstances are beyond our control and costs increase, amends will be made to pricing accordingly. This statement supersedes all other information packs ,and previous club members terms and conditions . Dated 10/2/22  


(23) Online Tee Time Bookings 


All Tee Times booked online are non-refundable. If the course is closed or weather conditions stop play, an alternative tee time will be offered.
